About
Corner Stone Games
An independent studio making games from the accounts in the Bible. Nehemiah is the first.
Why Bible-based games
The Bible is full of stories that already play like games: a city wall to rebuild in 52 days, enemies plotting outside, a crew that has to work together or fail. We want to make games that are fun first, and that leave players knowing an account better than before they started.
How we handle the account
- The Bible sets the rules. The wall goes up in 52 days (Nehemiah 6:15), section by section from the Sheep Gate (Nehemiah 3), and the builders keep a weapon close (Nehemiah 4:17). Game mechanics follow the account, not the other way round.
- Scripture stays in the background. Verses appear where they fit the moment, never as a quiz or a lecture.
- Quotations are from the World English Bible, a public-domain translation, so the game can quote it freely in every version and language.
- Dates follow the account. The game places Nehemiah's return in the 20th year of Artaxerxes, 455 BCE (Nehemiah 2:1).
Nehemiah
A co-op game for 2–4 players, like Overcooked meets tower defense. It is in open beta, free to play in a desktop browser, and available in English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, German and Korean. A Steam release is planned. See how to play or what's new.
