About the game
Players are the workers and guards of Nehemiah's rebuilding effort. Each day, enemies arrive in waves while the crew carries wood, stone and mortar to the wall and works it up by hand. Builders have their hands full, so someone always has to stand guard. The day ends when that day's stretch of wall is complete.
The campaign follows the account in the book of Nehemiah: 52 days (Nehemiah 6:15), 12 sections of wall going around the city from the Sheep Gate (Nehemiah chapter 3), and the opposition of Sanballat, Tobiah and Geshem. The pace is inspired by co-op kitchen games like Overcooked, with a tower-defense layer.
